Air traffic is growing at a steady rate of 3% to 5% per year in most regions of the world, implying a doubling every 15–25 years. This requires major advances in aircraft noise reduction at airports, just not to increase the noise exposure due to the larger number of aircraft movements. In fact it can be expected, as a consequence of increased opposition to noise by near airport residents.
Prop-Fan Engine Turbojets To reach higher (including supersonic) speed is possible by means of turbojet (Fig. ). It is considered, that specific thrust (the ratio of en- gine thrust to air consumption through it) of turbojet becomes more, and the specific fuel . Such a model would be the basis for improving first part yield and enabling rapid part qualification. In order to verify the model, experimentally measured microstructural features and tensile properties are required in x, y and z directions. The resulting data is to be used to validate the computational modeling.

Smith has written: 'Dynamic response and stability of a composite prop-fan model' -- subject(s): Dynamic response, Graphite-epoxy composites, Propeller fans, Propeller blades, Dynamic stability.
Nonlinear Composite Beam Theory Hodges, Dewey H. From an authoritative expert whose work on modern helicopter rotor blade analysis has spanned over three decades, comes the first consistent and rigorous presentation of beam theory.
Results of wind tunnel tests at low forward speed for blade dynamic response and stability of three cm ( in) diameter models of the Prop-Fan, advanced turboprop, are presented. Analytical stability results from this code are compared with published experimental results of a rotating composite advanced turboprop model and of nonrotating metallic wing model.
View Show abstract. The basic objectives of this contract were to perform detailed analysis and evaluation of dynamic data obtained during Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME) test and flight operations, including analytical/statistical assessment of component dynamic performance, and to continue the development and implementation of analytical/statistical models to.
